What to expect in 2008

ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) is confident that the year 2008 will bring even more good news where ADSL Broadband and other broadband alternatives are of a concern.

This is the last day of 2007. It’s now only a matter of hours before we will enter a new 365-day cycle or the year 2008. This new cycle will bring uncertainty as well as expectations of something better like in previous cycles. There will be many positive as well as negative developments, upswings and downswings. Reality will work hard to leave many of our New Year’s resolutions in the proverbial ‘dustbin’ before the end of January and for some of us even before the end of New Year’s Day. Despite this many things will head into a certain direction with our without our help. The reality is that we have at best limited control and have to place our trust in something bigger than ourselves, which may be one’s circle of close friends, the community, God, etc. For this reason don’t despair if things turn out to be a little different from what you expected. The important thing is not to worry about things you are not able to change overnight or even in a year(s). Some things take years to change and at the end of the day only changes because of a collective or combined effort. Despite many years of protest the positive changes in terms of cheaper ADSL Broadband, etc. has only started to filter through this year (2007).
