Vox Telecom turns up the heat
ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 22
January 2008
Vox Telecom, formerly known as
DataPro, has turned up the heat by announcing that the users of their ADSL Broadband based VoIP service, VoIP Phone, will be able to make peak as
well as off peak on-net calls for free. This effectively eliminates the 15c per minute previously asked for
on-net calls during peak
time.
This must come as excellent news for Vox ADSL Phone subscribers who will be able to call each other for free 24/7 at any time of the day and night.
The excitement however doesn’t stop there; subscribers will be able to buy bundled international packages that will
offer excellent value for money. Subscribers can get 500 minutes of call time to countries such as the UK, USA, US,
Canada, etc. for a R100. It boils down to a cheap 20c per minute for calls made to those international
destinations. South African parents who have children that are working and living overseas will especially welcome
the huge savings that are possible with Vox Telecom’s VoIP Phone service.
