What's
VoIP?

Voice over IP (VoIP) is essentially a
phone over the Internet, where calls
are made on a computer with an ADSL or other
Broadband Internet connection,
and routed via a service provider to a phone
number.
Why would
anyone do this when they can just pick up the
phone?
BECAUSE THE CALLS ARE 1/4 OF THE PRICE
OF NORMAL CALLS
Making calls on your computer,
especially to international destinations, are crazily
cheap. From fixed line to fixed line its about the same,
but to cell phones in South Africa and to international
destinations it is way more cost effective than Telkom.
For instance, you can phone anywhere in the US for
20 SA
cents per minute! (Calls to Europe are as low
as 18c per minute).
Sound good? Like to undercut
the horrific Telkom
prices?
Here's
how:
Remember
: Your
Telephone bill can be cut by up to 1/4 of the price! Its
unbelievably cheap for international
calls.
