ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) believes any attempt to boycott Vodacom’s products and services will end in futility, especially when one considers that Vodacom is supporting the Blue Bulls, which enjoys tremendous support among South African rugby fans. May it therefore be a lesson well learned for Cosatu or any other party that are considering to launch a boycott of Vodacom’s products and services. It will virtually be impossible to launch a successful boycott against Vodacom. We believe however that a boycott aimed against the likes of Cell C and Neotel will enjoy far greater support.
