Vodacom follows MTN's lead
ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 1
February 2009
Vodacom has scrapped
the additional R49 per month fee for High-Speed Uplink Packet
Access (HSUPA) and made it available to all their
Mobile
Broadband subscribers at no additional cost.
No surprise…
The above doesn’t come as a surprise
to ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa)
considering that MTN has for some time now, provided HSUPA and 3.6 Mbps HSDPA at no additional
cost to all their mobile broadband subscribers.
It’s however
enlightening to see that Vodacom is not shy when it comes to making changes, that’s not only beneficial to us,
the Average Joes, but that will also help to keep Vodacom in the telecoms game.
