Vodacom starts fixed line rollout ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 14 October 2007 Vodacom has started the rollout of their planned fixed line network with a fiber rollout in Johannesburg. This is according to Vodacom CEO, Alan Knott-Craig.
Knott-Craig, speaking at the recent launch of Vodacom’s On-The-Line mobile advertising campaign, ‘…said that the company has started rolling out their fiber network in Johannesburg’ (Vodacom starts fiber rollout, MyBroadband, 12 October 2007).
In other words, it’s official, as promised Vodacom has start building a fixed line network of their own. |
