Record low price levels for Uncapped ADSL Broadband...

ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) welcomes the fact that Axxess and Openweb have pushed the prices of Uncapped ADSL Broadband Packages to record lows in South Africa.

Needless to say, Axxess and Openweb have triggered the second leg of the Uncapped ADSL Broadband price war, which will most definitely lead to more record lows when it comes to the price levels of Uncapped ADSL Broadband Packages in South Africa. This is despite the fact that Openweb has launched their Uncapped ADSL Broadband Packages a few hours after Axxess has launched theirs. It’s after all no secret that MWEB triggered the first leg of fierce competition in the relevant market with the launch of their Uncapped ADSL Broadband Packages starting at R210 per month (ADSL line speed of 384Kbps) earlier this year in March.

In other words, Axxess and Openweb are not only offering Uncapped ADSL Broadband Packages at record low price levels, but have triggered the second leg of the Uncapped ADSL Broadband price war, which is expected to lead to the launch of even more affordable Uncapped ADSL Broadband Packages in the coming months.
