Effective planning…

One can argue that effective planning needs to be central to Neotel’s response to teething network problems. If they fail to see this, they are definitely setting themselves up for more misery.

People are simply not going to keep up with slow speeds and constant disconnects even if you serve them the best of excuses in the world. If you can’t ensure a quality broadband service at this stage of the game, it’s better to restrict the number of subscribers and lower your prices to levels where existing subscribers actually get what they are paying for. If not, you are clearly ripping people off during a time they can least afford to be ripped off.

ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) believes Neotel is fast becoming the next villain in the telecoms history of South Africa. Funny enough, even Telkom is starting to look a lot better now that we can see more clearly what Neotel is all about.
