ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) can’t
think of a better way to describe Telkom’s tendency to attract the same old bad press by
referring to it as the ‘Telkom Roller Coaster.’
The same old bad press because it seems that Telkom’s management
team has no strong desire to learn from past mistakes. We might be in the wrong here because nothing is set in
concrete, maybe Telkom’s management has discovered that there is no such a thing as bad press but only free
advertising after all. One thing is certain though, Telkom loves false or deceitful advertising. This is evident in
the many complaints launched against Telkom at the Advertising Standards Authority of South Africa (ASA) in recent
months and years.
