Telkom chooses for you ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 16 August 2009 The launch of the Seacom undersea cable system has seen a drop in the cost of broadband ADSL in some instances. It’s just a pity that the likes of Telkom have already decided that we need ‘extra’ bandwidth instead of direct cost savings in our pockets.
It is happening… ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) has warned our fellow average Joes in April this year, that many ISPs will choose to steal our choice, when it comes to choosing to receive more bandwidth at the same price OR choosing to see direct cost savings in our pockets. To refresh your memory: ‘ADSL and other broadband users in South Africa should welcome the fact that we can expect to see the allocation of more bandwidth at the same price later this year. |
