Telkom's baseless attacks

Telkom’s recent attacks on ICASA’s Complaints and Compliance Committee (CCC) and ADSL Regulations can at best be described as ‘baseless’ or ‘unfounded.’ This comes after Telkom’s non-compliance with ADSL Regulations landed them in the hot seat.

Telkom's first attack…
 
Advocate NGD Maritz, acting on behalf of Telkom, started Telkom’s defence of non-compliance with ADSL Regulations by making it clear that ‘…ADSL Regulations do not declare any contravention of any regulation to be an offence’ (Telkom attacks CCC authority, ADSL Regulations, MyBroadband, 25 October 2007).
