Telkom has tried to complicate matters by giving different interpretations to Regulation 3.4. The imbeciles said because the term ‘cap’ is not defined in the ADSL Regulations, they can’t be held accountable for non-compliance in this regard. This is Telkom’s ridiculous stance while one phone call to ICASA could have cleared it up. The truth is that they are not interested in getting in line but want to continue milking the Average Joes, like you and me, without interference from anyone.

‘A ruling on Telkom’s non-compliance regarding the ADSL regulations will only be made at a later stage’ (Telkom attacks CCC authority, ADSL Regulations, MyBroadband, 25 October 2007).

ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) despises the way Telkom is once again trying to get away with murder.
