What exactly do you recommend
needs to be done to ensure that ADSL Regulations that are actually enforceable and that can protect the South
African consumer see first light?
ADSL South Africa (Broadband South
Africa) suggests that a new ADSL panel be formed to look into ADSL Regulations. Rudolph Muller from MyBroadband
(also known as MyADSL) should chair such a panel.
In addition, such a panel should not
only consists of individuals who have an in depth knowledge of the subject at hand, but who also truly care about
The Average Joes in South Africa and have the future of ADSL in South Africa close at heart. They should be hand
picked by Muller in conjunction with The Average Joes in an open forum. The formed panel should then review and
revise the existing ADSL Regulations and publish their conclusions in an open forum. The public must then be able
to share their thoughts on each and every ADSL Regulation. The panel chaired by Muller should then look into the
public’s comments on the matter and draw up a final version of the ADSL Regulations, which are consistent with the
move to ensure the creation of a better ADSL regime in South Africa. Finally, the President himself, Jacob Zuma,
should give it his stamp of approval and make sure that it becomes law.
In other words, get decent people to
review and revise existing ADSL Regulations.
ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) is like many people out
there not happy about the current ADSL Regulations. We suggest a new ADSL panel headed by Rudolph Muller review
and revise existing ADSL Regulations.
