SNO: Giant in the making?

It has a proper name now and forms an essential part of many exciting deals and alliances that could lead to the awakening of a player with much more muscle than formerly expected.

SNO Telecom (formerly known as the SNO) will make our day by knocking Telkom out in the first couple of rounds. While it’s most unlikely one still has the luxury of day dreaming nowadays. On a serious note, we’re convinced Telkom will have a run for its money at least in the long term if SNO Telecom can pack the punches at critical sections of the Telkom giant. The recent deals and alliances might just provide the power that’s needed.

SNO Telecom will launch its first services at the end of the month targeting businesses. Residential ADSL users will have to wait until late this year or earlier next year for their turn and hopefully get a pleasant surprise.
