If a miracle happens and Sexwale’s bid for Telkom succeeds, Mvelaphanda will pay a premium of 20% for Telkom given Telkom’s current market capitalisation of more or less R75bn.
ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) is in favour of a 100% takeover of Telkom by Mvelaphanda if Sexwale can succeed in streamlining the telecoms giant into a more South African friendly telecoms player.
