Phasing out of consumer offerings... In addition, ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) has previously reported on Sentech’s ‘...plans to phase out consumer offerings completely...’ (The end of Sentech?, ADSL South Africa, 21 September 2008). This means that Sentech is planning to turn their back on the Average Joes which is according to us definitely going to speed up Sentech’s diminish.
The Board is ‘committed’... The Sentech Board of Directors has come out and made it clear that they are committed to turn the company around. ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) is however highly sceptical because it’s clear that the shit has hit the proverbial fan and that any turn around of Sentech remains a pipe dream without adequate funding.
