Dotco (they are the ISP
behind All You Can Eat
Broadband) has
launched prepaid ADSL vouchers that will enable ADSL
users to top-up bandwidth.
Dotco’s prepaid ADSL vouchers are
‘…similar to prepaid top-up vouchers for mobile airtime’
(Prepaid ADSL vouchers here, MyADSL, 17 May 2007). According to
Dotco MD, Johan Ferreira: “Running out of bandwidth can be very
frustrating for ADSL users, so we've developed a simple way of
adding extra gigabytes immediately with a prepaid voucher. Just
like cellular vouchers, a code is provided which, when entered,
instantly adds bandwidth whenever needed” (Prepaid ADSL
vouchers here, MyADSL, 17 May 2007).
In other words, one is be able to
buy a prepaid ADSL voucher from Dotco and use the code that
comes with the voucher to top-up bandwidth
instantly.
What are the benefits of prepaid ADSL
vouchers?

– According to Dotco the prepaid ADSL
vouchers “…solves the frustration, lost
productivity and wasted time associated with the
'hard cap' on ADSL services” (Prepaid ADSL vouchers

user – According to MD of Dotco,

ADSL user can open a new Dotco ADSL account or use
an existing Dotco ADSL account to add bandwidth
with ease and convenience.

pricing?
‘The prices for the vouchers are as follows:

since it will definitely help to make life a little bit easier
for many ADSL users in South Africa.
