I’ve responded to such an email. What must I do
now?
Change your password immediately.
If you responded to an email asking you to confirm your
Telkom Internet username and password, you need to change
your password as soon as possible. You can do it online or can phone 10215 in order to change it
immediately.
In other words, change your password online or phone 10215, in
order to change your password if you have responded to one of the phising emails asking you to confirm your Telkom
Internet username and password.
ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) is happy
to inform ADSL users of this new phishing scam because it should help to limit the theft of
bandwidth.
