Neotel is listening...
If one takes into account that the company’s NeoFlex service
effectively addresses many consumer complaints received in regards to the NeoConnect product range, then it’s clear
that Neotel has listened to the Average Joes. The absence of
Ethernet ports, a WiFi enabled router and a data-only broadband offering will be
a thing of the past with Neotel’s NeoFlex service.
What can we expect in terms of speed?
Neotel’s estimates - Downloads speeds: 450 Kbps- 900 Kbps and
upload speeds: 300 Kbps – 700 Kbps.
MyADSL has however found Neotel’s estimates to be
conservative: Local web based speed tests: Download speeds of 1500 Kbps on average and upload speeds of more or
less 800 Kbps. International web based speed tests: Download speedsof
950 Kbps on average and uplink speeds of more or less 350 Kbps (Neotel NeoFlex tested, MyADSL, 13 November
2008).
Well, the goods news doesn’t stop there, be sure to visit the
MyADSL site for more info on Neotel’s latest broadband offering.
ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) is happy
to see that Neotel is listening to the Average Joes and wishes them the best of luck with the launch of
NeoFlex.
