Nashua Mobile launches One Price ADSL

ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 30 September 2007

Nashua Mobile has launched its own One Price ADSL offerings. Their cheapest One Price ADSL offering starts below R200 per month.

This move by Nashua Mobile comes as more and more ISPs (Internet Service Providers) expand their bouquet of ADSL Broadband and other broadband Internet alternatives. This gives consumers more choice where Internet connectivity is of a concern. This is all made possible by the ongoing deregulation of the telecoms industry in South Africa. We are confident that this process, although slow, will ultimately lead to better, faster and even cheaper ADSL broadband services.

‘The latest option is an all inclusive ADSL offering from Nashua Mobile which has signed a wholesale agreement with
Telkom through which it can offer its customers bundled ADSL. This means that Nashua Mobile will now be able to provide customers with both the Telkom ADSL line rental and the monthly ADSL data subscription – all on one monthly bill’ (Nashua Mobile launches all inclusive ADSL offering, MyBroadband, 28 September 2007).

In other words, subscribers to Nashua Mobile’s ADSL services are now able to deal with Nashua Mobile and Nashua Mobile alone and not with Telkom as well like in the past.
