ADSL top up pricing... MWEB’s top up pricing of R99 per GB is a bit steep compared to Web Africa’s R70 per GB.
The above is something that’s not sitting well with many of MWEB’s current ADSL subscribers. This in combination with the surprise announcement relating to MWEB’s unlimited free Local Only ADSL trial, are expected to water down MWEB’s ADSL subscriber base substantially. ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) expects that many MWEB ADSL subscribers are going to cancel their MWEB contracts, something that can be equated as a ‘vote of no confidence’ in MWEB. ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) recommends that MWEB ADSL subscribers switch to Web Africa or OpenWeb. You will get much better value for money.
