ADSL South Africa - Local Number Portability (LNP)

This section of ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) is dedicated to the importance of Local Number Portability (LNP) in the building of a consumer friendly telecoms regime.

Local Number Portability allows telecoms users to port (carry over) their telephone numbers from one telephone network operator to another.

In other words, Local Number Portability allows one to switch to a different telephone network operator without the risk of losing one's telephone number(s).
