Mobile Broadband: Cell C plans ‘bombardment’ on high prices ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 2 September 2010 One cannot help to think that Cell C plans a ‘bombardment’ on high Mobile Broadband prices in South Africa. This is true if one considers the prices of two new Mobile Broadband offerings they are planning to launch soon.
Own network… It’s no secret that Cell C previously had no means to effectively compete against the likes of MTN and Vodacom (when it came to the offering of Mobile Broadband). This time around it’s a different story altogether, especially if one considers that the building of a 21 Mbps HSPA+ network, will now enable them to launch Mobile Broadband offerings which can effectively compete in the market place. |
