Cell C’s planned Mobile Broadband offerings will have to be tried and tested to establish whether the quality is acceptable. The likes of Neotel has already learned the hard way that us Average Joes don’t like to be taken for a ride, especially when it comes to price and quality.

Cell C is expected to shake up the market in terms of affordable Mobile Broadband, but if quality is lacking, they will surely have a hard time winning back the hearts and minds of us Average Joes in South Africa.

ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) is confident that CEO Lars Reichelt won’t make the same mistakes as his predecessors. This time around we can expect to see quality at a price that will fit almost any pocket. If not, then chances are good that Cell C will fail again and this time around it could prove to be fatal for them. We are however confident that Cell C will surprise us in a pleasant way this time around, especially considering the fact that unlike Neotel, they’ve not decided to turn a cold shoulder towards us Average Joes (at least not for now).

In other words, Cell C will have to delivery in terms of price and quality. If they fail, the joke will be on them and Trevor.
