Mobile Broadband: Cell C launches 3G mobile network in Cape Town ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 3 October 2010 Capetonians have every reason to smile after the launch of Cell C’s advanced 3G mobile network earlier this week. This makes the offering of third-generation (3G) services possible with average network speeds ranging between 4 Mbps and 7 Mbps.
No small feat… If we take Cell C’s word for it, 94% of Cape Town’s population enjoyed coverage at the launch of Cell C’s 3G mobile network in Cape Town and they’re planning to extent it to 100% by the end of the year. |
