Free advice…

It’s no secret that ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) doesn’t charge for advice, as some will have you believe. We would therefore like to advise broadband users, and those who plan to switch to broadband this year, not tie yourselves in long-term contracts at this stage but rather follow a wait-and-see strategy.

For example: Subscribers to iBurst’s service, especially those with contracts that are up for renewal, should think carefully and not fall for GPS Navigators, VoIP Phones, VoIP Routers, et cetera. You don’t want to be stuck with average download speeds of 481 kbps when you can get a faster and cheaper service elsewhere. It’s possible to take your money elsewhere and actually save enough money to buy all those goodies and still have money left over. You don’t have to be loyal to them because they certainly don’t have your best interests at heart.

ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) is happy that Neotel is still on track to launch high-speed Internet offerings in the 1st quarter of this year. Like you, we are eagerly awaiting details on pricing, etc.
