A little too late? ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 15 January 2008 This is the question one can ask after iBurst recently made it clear that they are planning to make life easier for online gamers that make use of their network. The Beta testing phase of their planned online gaming service will kick off soon.
Any online gamer, especially professional gamers, will tell you that it’s not only frustrating but also impossible to enjoy online gaming when your hero is acting like a nut case trying to outrun turtles. It is no secret that online gamers that are making use of iBurst’s network are currently struggling at best to enjoy online gaming because of latency problems, especially when playing on international servers. Many gamers have already moved to more online gamer friendly Internet access services or networks. This is why iBurst’s planned online gaming service might be seen as a little too late. |
