Internet Access in SA 2008 Report

ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 7 December 2008

The Internet Access in South Africa 2008 Report shows that South Africans can expect a full-swing liberalization of telecoms in SA from the middle of next year.

ADSL and other broadband Internet users in South Africa have much to look forward to…

This is definitely the case when one looks at the above-mentioned report recently uncovered by Arthur Goldstuck, Managing Director of World Wide Worx. It is predicted in the report that there will be a substantial growth in the number of broadband Internet users over the next few years. It is predicted that ADSL and other broadband Internet users will pay the same price for 10 times the current bandwidth caps when Seacom becomes operational in September next year.

In addition to the above, Goldstuck believes Telkom will double its ADSL bandwidth allowances between March and June next year in reaction to the revolutionary changes SEACOM will introduce.

ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) is looking forward to the full-swing liberalization of telecoms in SA.
