Interconnection rates: Unhappiness about Telkom’s proposed regime ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 26 October 2010 One would think that Telkom would turn a new chapter with the launch of their own mobile operator, 8ta, or formerly known as Telkom Mobile. This however seems to be a pipe dream at best, considering that Telkom is pushing hard for an interconnection regime which is heavily skewed in favour of 8ta.
Furious… Cell C, MTN and Vodacom are furious about the interconnection regime Telkom is proposing and with reason. ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) will not be surprised if the interconnection regime proposed by Telkom doesn’t sit well with our fellow Average Joes either. |
