Time to save
face…
ADSL South Africa (Broadband South
Africa) believes it’s time that ICASA, not only focuses on matters that are more important, but start to save face
after a series of blunders. The Seacom cable construction is for example completed and set to become operational by
the end of June this year. This in itself will provide ICASA with ample opportunity to save face by helping to
shape a highly competitive telecoms environment through well-thought out legislation and actions.
It’s time to grow
balls…
It is time that the guys and girls at
ICASA, turn their backs on Cosatu and the likes, and help build a telecoms environment we can cherish for
generations to come. The average Joes in South Africa are definitely not going to put up with Cosatu instigated
trouble for much longer. We do not want to see our country plunge into anarchy such as in Zimbabwe and are
definitely not going to sit down while a bunch of raving lunatics try to run the show.
ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) is happy that ICASA and
Cosatu have failed to block the sale of Telkom’s stake in Vodacom. We hope that it’s a lesson well learned for
both.
