iBurst on the move

ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 20 May 2006

The wireless broadband internet provider iBurst is taking the South African market by storm. This BEE company might just provide the sting that’s necessary to get Telkom out of its long winter sleep. Fast efficient service is what you can expect from iBurst. Ask any of the more than 10 000 subscribers and they will tell you that it’s service deliverance at its best.

Of course, there are some problems as well. For instance, they fail to mention in their start up documentation that you have to insert @iburst.co.za after your username in order to log in. This caused and still causes unnecessary hold ups but once that have been sorted everything just seem to fall in place.

If they stick with their rollout plan of at least one new base station per week, then the whole of Johannesburg should be covered at the latest by the end of this month.

iBurst offers a real and cost effective alternative to Telkom broadband. “Passion, innovation, teamwork, exceeding expectations and inspirational leadership” (Official Site) forms the core of its corporate value system. Values you can see in the action they take.

iBurst is definitely on the move. Get on the bandwagon today if you have the opportunity. It might be the cleverest move you made in years.

To those of you who are still waiting for the rollout in your area be sure that help is on its way. The young patriot is coming to save you from the big bad outdated gun.
