iBurst offers ADSL and HSDPA ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 6 April 2008 iBurst now offers ADSL Broadband and HSDPA services in addition to the wireless Internet service they have been offering since the company’s launch in 1997. iBurst’s Internet access offerings now come in the form of iBurst Wireless, iBurst ADSL and iBurst HSDPA.
It doesn’t come as a surprise to ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) that iBurst has decided to resell ADSL Broadband and HSDPA. More and more ISPs (Internet Service Providers) and telecoms companies are starting to offer telecoms services (Internet access services, etc.) beside the traditional services offered by them.
For example: Both Vodacom and MTN are rolling out fixed-line networks of their own while Telkom recently announced that they’re planning to build a mobile network of their own. In other words, the fixed-lines want to go mobile and the mobiles want to go fixed-line. Almost everyone now wants a piece of both pies. |
