There are many ways to make and lose money online. We can't think of an easier way to waste your money than to go online and buy some second hand get-rich-quick advice. First of all get yourself a credit card if you don't have one. This is not to say that you don't have money in your bank account or cash in your pocket. Using a credit card is an international recognized way of telling the seller that he/she will get paid for products and services delivered.

In addition to the above, you can build up a nice credit record in South Africa by using the card wisely.

PayPal is a safe way of making and receiving payments online. Most online businesses will be more than happy to receive payments via PayPal. PayPal acts as a financial intermediary. This means that a third party will never directly have access to your credit card details. 

Affiliate marketing...

One way to make money online is through affiliate marketing. What this means is that you are getting paid for helping to promote or market the products and services of other businesses online.

You don't need to knock on doors or anything of that sort. All you need to do is to place affiliate links or banners on your website. When people click on those links or banners you are getting paid depending on the kind of ad campaign. Some pay per click and others pay per lead, etc.

In order to become an affiliate you need to sign up for an affiliate account...

Both offer great hosting services at highly competitive prices. If you can find a more reliable hosting service at a better price elsewhere, then you're definitely a lucky person.

The next thing you need to do is to get yourself software you can use to design, build and publish your own websites. There are many programs out there that you can use do this. However, we've found XSitePro2 to be the best program to use if you're new in the game, don't want to overspend and don't really know how to work with HTML code, etc. XSitePro2 makes it really easy with great tutorials and great support. XSitePro2 will cost you a few hundred rand, but it's an excellent investment if you're serious about making money online.
