Early 2008 ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 5 November 2007 Consumers in South Africa waiting on Neotel’s broadband Internet and voice offerings will not have to wait much longer. These offerings should be launched early 2008.
According to Angus Hay, Executive Head of Strategy and Products at Neotel, they are piloting their “…double-play CDMA service, which is ‘high speed’ Internet roughly equivalent to current ADSL/3G offerings, together with voice. It will launch in early 2008” (Neotel double-play offerings here early 2008, MyBroadband, 5 November 2007). In other words, despite previous setbacks we can expect to see the official launch of Neotel’s broadband Internet and voice offerings early in the new year. |
