Higher profits…

ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) believes the main reason ISPs will want to make us believe that we need more bandwidth is because they want to make higher profits.

If they are able to allocate more bandwidth to us later this year, than logic tells one that as an alternative they must be able to drop their tariffs, without incurring any additional cost. ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) may be proven wrong in the months to come, but it seems like they will do their best to force additional bandwidth unto us instead of giving us the choice of paying less for the bandwidth we really need. The only reason we believe they will not want us to pay less for the bandwidth we really need, is because they will make higher profits by giving us more bandwidth than we really need, but less than it’s actually costing them.

ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) really hopes that the expected drop in the cost of bandwidth later this year will not be seen by ISPs as an opportunity to BS and milk the consumer further.
