How large is Neotel’s CDMA2000 network currently? Parts of Pretoria and Johannesburg.
‘Neotel’s CDMA2000 network currently covers large parts of Johannesburg and Pretoria, and the company is aggressively expanding coverage in other metros’ (Neotel consumer services details, MyBroadband, 28 November 2007). In other words, Neotel’s CDMA2000 network is currently not very large although the network is expanding fast to other metropolitan areas. ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) is happy that Neotel is still planning to launch their consumer services early 2008.
