Communications Minister: Will Nyanda risk further exposure? ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 26 September 2010 The Director General of Communications, Mamodupi Mohlala, who was sacked earlier this year in July under suspicious circumstances by the Communications Minister, Siphiwe Nyanda, is set to return to work on Monday.
Out of court settlement… Nyanda and Mohlala have reached an out of court settlement about a month ago that effectively reinstated Mohlala to her position as Director General of Communications. This came after Nyanda was clearly not prepared to risk all by seeing Mohlala taking him to court for unfair dismissal, and having to give a proper explanation for her dismissal in court. |
