Communications Minister: A waste of time and money ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 23 November 2010 Roy Padayachie, recently appointed by President Zuma as Communications Minister, has proven beyond reasonable doubt that he is no different from his predecessors when it comes to wasting the taxpayer’s money. This doesn’t bade well for telecoms in South Africa since he will surely struggle to place national interest above self-interest, something which is needed to push through positive change in the telecoms sector in South Africa.
What is wrong with you? Many of our fellow Average Joes are starving and dying in camps while the likes of Padayachie are having a ‘party’ at the taxpayer’s expense. |
