Cheaper ADSL at shocking service levels?

ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 21 December 2009

We should ask ourselves, if we’re really prepared to pay less for ADSL Broadband when its accompanied by shocking service levels? Hell no, I can already hear someone mumble in the background. This is the precise reason why we cannot sit down while some ISPs (Internet Service Providers) have taken it upon themselves to offer us just that: Cheap substandard ADSL Broadband.

Aggressive price cuts…

It is no secret that many ISPs have aggressively cut the cost of ADSL Broadband to the consumer this year.

The above was welcomed, but it has become as clear as daylight, despite the rain and political clouds that are gathering (or political clowns for that matter!), that some ISPs have lowered their ADSL prices while they didn't even provide a decent service to their existing subscribers in the first place (before any price cuts). This is simply intolerable, inexcusable and not fair, not only to those ISPs that do offer decent service although it may be at higher price levels, but also to the Average Joes who have come out in great numbers to support those ISPs that have taken the initiative to cut their ADSL prices.

ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) is sure that the opportunity to save money or price cuts will not be frown upon by most Average Joes, but we also know that most Average Joes will simply lose their cool when they realise they are being taken for a ride! Evidently this is why 'political correctness' is used as a tool to subdue the masses while the abuse of power is visible almost everywhere.
