Cell C CEO resigns ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 29 March 2009 The CEO of Cell C, Jeffrey Hedberg, has resigned earlier this week.
Hedberg’s resignation doesn’t come as a surprise… What may have come, as a surprise to the telecoms industry, has not surprised ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) at all. This comes despite the fact that his contract at Cell C only expires in November. In a recent article, we advised Hedberg to‘…move on and not waste his qualities on the likes of Cell C’ (‘Black hole’ for sale, ADSL South Africa, 1 March 2009). We would therefore like to congratulate him on making a smart move, whether he has read the relevant article or not. |
