Bandwidth theft in South Africa… Bandwidth theft is in essence the stealing of someone else’s Internet bandwidth to use for one’s own and normally devious purposes. It is 100% illegal, and although still a relatively new phenomenon in South Africa, it has already caused a lot of damage and is increasing at an alarming rate. For this very reason, God willing this will be the first of many articles that will focus on bandwidth theft and how to combat this growing cancer in the South African online society. |
