Will it be Black Monday for Telkom? ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 8 June 2008 Telkom will announce their latest financial results tomorrow or on Monday the 9th of June 2008. Will it be Black Monday for Telkom? The results will certainly shed more light on Telkom’s future.
Black Monday, two words that send shivers down the spines of shareholders, should send shivers down the spines of Telkom shareholders. Black Monday is not the culmination of some ghostly play but is in reference to Monday the 19th of October 1987 when stock markets around the world ‘crashed’ in an event that can be described as a black swan.
