Afrihost: R29 per GB ADSL Broadband offering to end soon

ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 12 October 2009

Afrihost launched a R29 per GB ADSL Broadband offering late September which has caused a stir in the telecoms market. None the less, the ADSL Broadband promotion is set to end soon although there are some good news.

Dependent on Afrihost’s marketing budget...

It was clear from the start that Afrihost’s below cost R29 per GB ADSL Broadband offering is dependent on the size of their marketing budget.

It must therefore come as good news that although Afrihost has planned to end the promotion over a week ago, it has not ended yet, because they have managed to extent their marketing budget. One of the reasons for this is simply because Afrihost managed to increase their ADSL Broadband traffice volume with Internet Solutions (IS) which resulted in them having to pay less per GB.

In addition to the above, Afrihost has decided to invest some of the money they planned to spend on other projects, to rather extend their R29 per GB ADSL Broadband offering, which has proven to be very popular among ADSL Broadband users. This is despite the fact that Afrihost has so far refused to reveal how many ADSL Broadband users have been attracted by their R29 per GB ADSL Broadband offering.
