ADSL service problems

Many ADSL users feel like pulling the hairs from their scalps because of problems experienced with their ADSL service.

ADSL service problems encountered include:

• Slow speeds

• International connectivity problems

• Timeouts

• High latency

• General poor performance

Many ADSL users are still encountering some or all of the above problems while the search are still on to find the probable causes. Despite the fact that a SAIX link between Hong Kong and New York was down and ADSL maintenance was done recently, many ADSL users continue to be dogged by ADSL service problems.

Internet Solutions for one is investigating the issue since their customers were not spared when ‘…many SAIX users had to contend with slow speeds and high latency…’ (ADSL problems frustrate users, MyBroadband, 27 August 2007).
