ADSL
Broadband kicks ass
ADSL South Africa (Broadband South
Africa), 16 November 2008
It’s official, ADSL Broadband has replaced dialup as the
connection of choice for SMEs (Small and Medium businesses). This is according to the SME Survey of
2008.
ADSL Broadband the clear winner among
SMEs...
At this stage a mere 10% of SMEs still surf the net by making use
of dialup, while a massive 63% of them are making use of ADSL Broadband to surf the net. ADSL Broadband is the
clear winner even compared to the like of Wireless Broadband which come in at
10.1%.
Market commentators expected ADSL Broadband to steadily replace
dialup but steadily has now made room for rapidly. This comes only 5 years after ADSL Broadband's introduction in
South Africa.
