ADSL Broadband in demand ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 24 May 2009 ADSL Broadband is pretty much in demand if one considers that Telkom is currently experiencing a shortage of ADSL modems in certain areas.
Problems with supply chain… The shortage of ADSL modems in certain areas is according to Telkom mainly because of problems with their supply chain from overseas. This however doesn’t mean that the ever-increasing demand for ADSL in South Africa is not playing a role here. This is good news for those of us who firmly support the adoption of ADSL as a means of accessing the Internet in South Africa. This is good news despite the fact that many new Telkom ADSL subscribers unfortunately have to wait for ADSL modems to arrive from overseas. |
