What is Telkom doing to ease the impact of the ADSL modem shortage?

New ADSL modem stock will arrive round about the 25th of this month but Telkom has already jumped into action to ease the impact of the ADSL modem shortage.

 

Telkom is:

  • making home deliveries (where possible)  
  • and loaning their new ADSL customers refurbished ADSL modems until such time as the new stock arrives.  

ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) is happy that Telkom is taking the ADSL modem shortage seriously and are actively taking steps to ease the impact. This approach will definitely sit well with the average Joes in South Africa, especially considering that Telkom has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
