More needs to be done…

ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) welcomes Web Africa’s ‘R199 for 30GB’ ADSL Broadband special, but it will really be nice to see them cut their ADSL Broadband prices over a broad spectrum to a level more in line with the prices of competitors such as Afrihost.

An increasing number of ADSL Broadband users, many of them loyal Web Africa users, feel that Web Africa can do more to lower the cost of ADSL Broadband to the South African consumer. In fact, many loyal Web Africa users have already switched to the likes of Afrihost, noting Web Africa’s high ADSL Broadband prices as the only reason for doing so. This must be concerning to Web Africa’s MD (Managing Director) and Founder, Matthew Tagg, given the fact that he’s very passionate about the prospects of ADSL as a broadband technology in South Africa. Needless to say, we’re sure that deep down he knows what needs to happen and that an ADSL Broadband special of ‘R199 for 30GB’ which is limited to a 100 lucky ADSL Broadband users, is simply not enough to appease the masses.

In other words, Web Africa needs to lower their ADSL Broadband prices a.s.a.p. or risk seeing an exodus of loyal customers.

ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) welcomes Web Africa’s initiative. It will definitely put smiles on the faces of at least 100 ADSL Broadband users out there. However, they need to do more to lower their ADSL Broadband prices so that more people can benefit from their broadband Internet services.
