ADSL Broadband: New SA fixed-line telecoms operator ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa), 5 July 2010 Word is out that a new company by the name of Metrofibre Networx, a fixed-line telecoms operator, plans to provide SA businesses with high-speed fiber connectivity or Fiber based ADSL Broadband.
Good news for business… The above comes as good news despite the fact that Metrofibre Networx plans to focus exclusively on the business market, at least initially. They have however indicated that if it makes business sense, they may change their minds and enter the residential telecoms market at a later stage. If it becomes a reality, it will entitle the laying of fiber cables to residential areas. |
