The date most speculated about for any such launch is the 1^st of June this year when the Soccer World Cup will ‘kick-off’ so to speak. It is no secret after all that Telkom is planning to introduce a 10Mbps speed upgrade, but when exactly and at what cost largely remains a mystery despite all the speculation. ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) is of the opinion that it will be soon; given the fact that many Telkom ADSL subscribers already enjoy ADSL Broadband as speeds of up to 10Mbps! In fact, not long ago, Web Africa has announced that they’re already offering their ADSL Broadband subscribers speeds of up to 10Mbps.  

In other words, it’s clear from the above that ADSL Broadband subscribers can expect to see the launch of Telkom’s 10Mbps ADSL Broadband offering very soon. 

ADSL South Africa (Broadband South Africa) is confident that Telkom will launch their 10Mbps ADSL Broadband offering during the Soccer World Cup, if not, then it should happen before year end.
